How Sweet is Sweet? How super is sugar?

For ABCWednesday "S Week" and for all you soda loves and haters... here's to re-thinking choices!

Have a happy, healthy week!

This was taken from: http://therenegadepharmacist.com/what-happens-one-hour-after-drinking-a-can-of-coke/

Here's an excerpt of the post with helpful advice:
Those who loved to drink tea and coffee sweetened with lots of sugar, I advised to swap with natural sweeteners like stevia instead. This alone had some remarkable results.
There are 1.6 billion servings of Coke sold each day worldwide!!

  1. Very informative post. My sugar comes from different sources that are just as bad for me. I stay away from all sweeteners, though.

  4. I don't drink a Coke very often, most often when I'm in a restaurant. They taste so good and are a reminder of my childhood when a Coke was a special treat. If you keep it that way, the sugar rush isn't quite so bad. - Margy

  7. Interesting!
Carbonated beverages upset my stomach, so I quit drinking them years ago. Amazing what a person's body forces them to do for their own good.
    Have a great day!

  11. Hi Meryl,
That was most informative thank you for sharing it with us.
Rather a SCARY article too! I've taken a copy to show to one
of my daughters, who always seems to have a can of diet coke at
hand, (don't know whether that is as dangerous), I shall read it
again, should I have missed something. I do know that my four
grandchildren are not allowed col or any other fizzy drinks, which
    is good!

    Best wishes,
    Di.
